Product Management Intern - Summer 2026

New York CitySummer 2026
New

Squarespace is a design-centric product company at heart which enables anyone to build a beautiful online presence. Our product teams are collaborative and each member is directly responsible for the team's success.

We are looking for a product management intern to join the Domains Search team. At Squarespace, you will help build the future of brand creation on our generative search platform. You will solve complex search problems using Generative AI (ML, LLM, and Hybrid models), shifting the focus from simply finding URLs to creating names that become businesses. You will take ownership of our product by solving complex problems in simple, elegant ways.

This role will be based in our New York office and report to a Product Lead.

You'll Get To…

  • Help evolve our Domain Search platform. You will use Generative AI and semantic brainstorming to help users discover unique brand identities, not just web addresses.
  • Take ownership of solving a customer problem from start to finish, develop a strategy, collaborate with a product manager, designer, and engineers, and implement a solution that makes an impact.
  • Dive into customer insights and data (using SQL and analysis tools) to better understand user needs, quantify problems, validate hypotheses, and shape product decisions.
  • Keep communication flowing across teams, work with the product triad (Engineering, Design, PM) and User Research to ensure alignment and effective execution.
  • Present your product's success to senior leadership, highlighting the measurable impact you've made for your users and the business.

Who We're Looking For

  • Recent graduate (Fall 2025/Spring 2026) or currently enrolled student graduating in Fall 2026 or Spring 2027
  • Proficiency with SQL and data analysis
  • Deep interest in Generative Search (ML, LLM, Hybrid models) and experience using product-focused AI tools to amplify output and solve problems
  • Experience with web technologies (coding experience not required, but logic is important), with the ability to participate in technical discussions about search algorithms and AI constraints

Cash Compensation Range: $45.00 - $48.00 USD hourly rate
