Data Analyst Co-Op

Description

We are seeking a data analyst co-op position for our Marshalltown, IA location. This is a temporary 8-month co-op assignment from May 2026-December 2026. Only students currently attending college or university will be considered.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

  • Assist in designing data architecture and organizing data from manufacturing and global service partners, as well as front end ordering systems

  • Develop and implement automated routines for data collection, pre-processing, and integrity checks in preparation for analysis

  • Collaborate with research and data science teams to perform exploratory data analytics, identifying trends and data features

  • Contribute to planning & road mapping new features and functionality

  • Support multi-disciplinary agile teams in developing and improving AI models

  • Create reports and metrics to drive more efficient initiatives

  • Document and present progress/results to stakeholders and other teams

  • Assist with other project activities as assigned

For This Role, You Will Need:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree

  • Experience with SQL and Python

Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field

  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher

  • Junior standing or above

  • C#, C++, Java or other object-oriented programming skills

  • Experience in data collection, pre-processing, and relational database models

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision-making skills

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Familiarity with data visualization, management, and storage tools
