As a Software Developer Intern on the Platform Services and Emerging Technologies (PSET) you’ll have the opportunity to drive projects, solve unique challenges, while diving deep into our processes and tools supporting development of robust and highly performant client/server ecosystems.
You’ll get placed into one of our multiple teams that directly impact on the top-line revenue for our company.
Responsibilities
• Managing your project end-to-end, including designing, developing, testing, releasing, and monitoring software solutions.
• Partnering with various cross-functional teams to solve critical problems across the PSET and PDMS organization, while working in a scrum team environment.
• Design and develop a solution supporting a cloud application in a microservice architecture
• Have technical ownership of your code, and ensure code quality by testing (unit, integration, and performance tests).
• Document processes, designs, test results, and analysis.
Minimum Qualifications
• Must be currently enrolled in a full-time, degree-seeking program with an expected graduation date in December 2026 or May 2027.
• Strong Computer Science (CS) fundamentals, with a proficiency in Java to develop components and services.
• In-depth understanding of software engineering concepts and SDLC methodologies.
• Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, Go, and Groovy.
• Self-starter with a quick learning curve.
• Team-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
• Prior software engineering experience from internships, hackathons, or other related projects.
• Experience working in team environments and building collaborative relationships.
• Knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Go, AWS ECS, DynamoDB, Lambda, CI/CD, GIT, Jenkins, and Jira.
• Knowledge of designing and developing cloud applications on a microservice architecture.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, etc.
• Knowledge in applying AI and ML solutions for applications and automations.
• Passion for Autodesk and/or learn more about the domain.
About the Canada Intern Program
The 2026 Canada program runs for 16 weeks (May 4 – August 21). All internships are paid.
