Key responsibilities for the qualified candidate:

Our team has a need for a Software Engineer who is inspired by a job that challenges them to be proactive, make decisions, and generate ideas that drive product development to greater heights. Responsibilities span the full lifecycle of product development, from architecture and design, through integration, test, and field support. You will contribute to the build, test, and delivery of a set of software applications to be deployed to advanced systems that process modern communications for the U.S. Government. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of concepts related to standard programming practices, software architecture, and networking.

What You Will Do:

  • Work on complex technical problems while participating on collaborative, cross-disciplined integrated product teams

  • Work will be performed with guidance of a product lead and team members who will assist in establishing an approach, perform code review and support in testing

What You Will Learn:

  • How to collaborate productively and professionally in a team-based development environment using disciplined engineering processes

  • How to develop code with the larger end product and customers in mind

  • Exposure to large code bases and toolsets like Jira, Confluence, Git, and Docker
