Front End Developer Intern
Job Description:

Use markup languages like HTML to create user-friendly web pages

Maintain and improve assigned digital applications

Collaborate with back-end developers and web designers to improve usability
-
Solicit and incorporate feedback from, and build solutions for, business colleagues
-
Write functional requirement documents and guides as needed
-
Create quality mockups and prototypes as required

Help back-end developers with coding and trouble-shooting
Location: Preferential physical location would be Long Island, NY, but could be located in New York or Connecticut

Education, Skills, and Experience Requirements for Interns:

Current undergraduate rising Junior or Senior enrolled in an accredited college or university who is pursuing a degree in related field and has an interest in the banking/financial services industry

Proficiency in Front End development languages, such as: Javascript, Angular, React, etc.

Working knowledge of source code management tools such as GitLab, GitHub
-
Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle methodologies such as Agile Scrum, SAFe Agile and Waterfall

Familiarity with browser testing and debugging

Resourceful, enthusiastic, and proactive

Highly organized

Demonstrated strong attention to detail

Experience creating and delivering presentations

Strong written and verbal communication skills
