What You’ll Do
You’ll be part of the Multimedia Software team, and you will work alongside senior software engineers and researchers to develop AI-based tools that will be used by other teams within Samsung to make data mining and data extraction faster and more efficient.
Location: Daily onsite presence at our San Diego office in alignment with our Flexible Work policy
Reports to: Sr. Principal Engineer

Understand the problem statements and define potential LLM- based solutions

Perform literature survey of existing state-of-the-art for the specific problem

Identify, implement and test software solutions that could best address the problem

Create and maintain database used for training, evaluation and testing of the implemented solution

Make the solution available to other teams by integrating it into frameworks for AI applications

Prepare summaries, presentations and documentation of the implemented solution

Pursuing Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a closely-related technical field (e.g., Robotics, Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Applied Mathematics, or Embedded Systems)
